## Knowledge Prerequisites

To use the Simba OneLake ODBC Connector, the following knowledge is helpful:

* Familiarity with the platform on which you are using the Simba OneLake ODBC Connector

* An understanding of the role of ODBC technologies and driver managers in connecting to a data source
